Listen to this fascinating answer from Mark Sayers, where he explains the current upheaval of the higher-ed world at the moment. He says that it’s akin to the music industry in the late 1990’s as Napster was making digital music free online.
Note too, that it seems that the fact that many learning institutions have leaned heavily on information transfer, but have neglected to see the power of formation as a result of a community of learners in dialogue and proximity.
